Terms & Conditions
Free Consultation/Assessment
This is an initial meeting usually half an hour -ish to discuss your needs & requirements and how Swan Interiors can assist you usually followed by a written no obligation quotation.
Prices
We offer an initial free consultation as every situation is different and therefore this why we price accordingly to our clients individual needs and requirements. Some clients will end up combining two or three various services. This is why we offer the initial free consultation to get the right price for you.
Payment
All services can be paid for by cash or cheque (with a cheque guarantee card) payable to Swan Interiors.
For bookings to be confirmed a 50% deposit is required.
The remaining 50% on completion of the project or on terms that have been negotiated at the start of the assignment.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
Please advise if you need to reschedule at least 48 hours in advance and we can re arrange. In this case we will hold your deposit towards your rescheduled appointment. The deposit is non-refundable if less than 48hours notice is given.
Should we at any stage need to cancel and you do not wish to reschedule, we will of course return any deposit paid.
Confidentiality & Privacy
Please note that Swan Interiors operates a very professional service and we undertake never to divulge client information to third parties under any circumstance. Any testimonials and pictures that appear on our website are used with the full permission of the client.
Travel Expenses
Swan Interiors is based in Brighton & Hove and clients living with in a 15-mile radius of the city are included in our rates. We are of course able to cover other areas of the South East & London. In such cases we will include in our quote the cost of travelling at the standard rate of 40p per mile.
Insurance
Swan Interiors has full public liability insurance.
Peace of Mind
Swan Interiors has been police checked and is happy to produce our certificate upon request.
Disclaimer
Swan Interiors is not responsible for failure by the client to implement and maintain any organising solutions, recommendations or programmes set.
Removal of Items
This means an estate car load per de-cluttering session and is included in our rates. If the removal of larger items are required then specific transport may need to be arranged. If additional costs are incurred then these will need to be met by the client. We will of course discuss this first.
Items removed from your premises, either for disposal or to re-cycle, must be at client's discretion. Disposal of items will not take place without client authorisation.
Best Advice
Our advice is given in good faith and it is always your decision to accept guidance on whether or not to keep particular possessions. We cannot therefore accept responsibility for the consequences of such decisions. From time to time we handle items, which have a potentially high market value. While we will always use our best endeavours to identify such items amongst your possessions, you acknowledge that we are not valuers. We do not have expertise to identify works of art or items of special value or rarity. We are not qualified to advise on valuation matters for insurance purposes.
